MySpace is really NOT suited for business. If it WAS at one time, that was ruined by all the strange stuff. And, there's a warning out for young about-to-be-college graduates to get rid of their MySpace before they send out the resumes, because some potential employers google them and find that they have friends like F-ckface, and that they ramble on about being stoned out of their minds - poof, there goes that job. It was not a plus for recent local candidates for office in Humboldt County either. Might be ok if you are running for student council.

Though I know little about MySpace, one good use for it is for businesses in order to simply have a presence on the internet when they have no website of their own. If they set up a MySpace page, at least their potential customers can find their address and phone number when they Google the name of the business. This can work even if "Tom" ends up being their only "friend."
