I got the "Elite" at $34.95. I am also investigating ATT's TV. It is by Dish Network I believe. I don't know if you noticed but Suddenlink Cable prices went up a bunch recently. I watch very little television. Sometimes City Council, but not much else.

Ron - which price plan do you have for the DSL? I'm thinking of switching and getting a good antenna for HDTV - skipping cable altogether.

I am glad for those staying with Suddenlink that they are getting things fixed. I had gotten so discouraged with service I purchased DSL and ran a bunch of tests to compare it before switching over.
In series of speed tests using DSLREPORTS.COM between Suddenlink and DSL from the same computer over a three day period the average downlink speed for Suddenlink was 4.1 mbps, and uplink was 470 kbs. With DSL it was 4.9 mbps down, and 615 kbs up. DSL is the clear winner in performance, and I have not yet improved my wiring, which may make it even better. FTP appears to work much better on DSL as well, possibly due to the much improved uplink speed. I am dropping Suddenlink because I want all the performance I can get get, particularly FTP uploads. However at this point they are fairly comparable both in performance and price, so it might not be worth it to the average user to go to all the trouble to switch. Only time will tell if DSL proves to be reliable.
