I am currently waiting to have my wisdom teeth extracted, but the oral surgeon I was referred to (also not going to name names) requires an up-front payment of half the surgery cost, to be reimbursed *if* my insurance pays anything.

I wonder, in times like this, just why we pay for the insurance. This is my rant, because I don’t feel very insured. I feel like I’m not trusted because that plastic card in my wallet might not be good.

I am not very pleased with the state of healthcare, of late…
