A regional approach to these issues is a winner, but just that more difficult to achieve especially if some in the community try to turn this into a fight disguised as public interest when it is really just personal financial interests.

I will say again that the RTC should weigh in with a set of tenets that ANY broadband project should have, such as open access, mitigation of the digital divide, public benefit (although not necessarily public ownership), stimulating of competition, etc. Any project meeting these goals should get our collective support.</description>
