Mark your calendars and plan to attend this month’s RTC meeting Thursday, October 9th, at 5:30 pm at the Humboldt Area Foundation’s Conference Room, 373 Indianola Rd.

The featured presentation will be students from Eureka High School’s EAST Lab. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn why the EHS EAST Lab has earned recognition as one of the top service learning programs in the United States. In this elective program students are challenged to identify areas of need in the community and seek out a solution using cutting edge technology. The list of accomplishments by EAST Lab students is impressive, including: Youth Relay for Life, the EHS Blood Drive, Hero – a relay on horseback which has raised over $57,000 for the American Cancer Society, Academic Fair and “Drive 2 Stay Alive”, to name just a few.
