I had to try 3 times, but I got my dang blog back after upgrading to WP 2.8. I have to say that as complex as Drupal can be, I’ve never had much problem upgrading within a version. But I always seem to have some glitch with WordPress. And Drupal gets easier and easier, faster and faster.
I’m alergic to upgrades.
Well, gotta blow my nose.
That’s odd. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed: http://talkingtech.net/feed/.
Your live bookmark still won’t load on my RSS reader. Maybe you should hire a 12 year old child to debug it for you.
=)
Well, I’m sorta back. After umpteen times I got all the plugins updated. But my modifications to my theme are now all gone. I’m sorry, these things do not happen on Drupal. I think the whole effort to make upgrading really simple on WordPress is great. But it just doesn’t work all the time, and ends up causing lots of frustration. I’d rather take the few couple extra steps that Drupal requires and get it done right the first time.
Yeah. I’m still having trouble with it. Seems there is a configuration file missing.
Yikes! I was thinking about upgrading the Oysters and Ale blog, but I think I’ll skip it.
